Our Story
Lately, it has felt like there is a vacuum of deeply emotional, moving art that speaks to socially conservative values. Political polarization has pushed our movement further toward "facts over feelings" and "truth bombs," and it’s costing us the hearts of many Americans.
History shows us that the emotions stirred by powerful art and literature have been powerful catalysts for change. The conservative movement has a powerful emotional appeal that isn’t being heard. So why not create a space for artists with socially conservative and religious values to come together and make something beautiful and impactful?
That's how Voice & Virtue was born - a new literary journal and publishing house dedicated to uplifting socially conservative, Christian, and Catholic literature and art for the purpose of moving hearts and inspiring minds. A little bit of culture for your counter…and a little bit of counter for your culture 😉
Our Vision
Voice & Virtue aims to reignite emotion and artistry in the socially conservative movement by fostering a vibrant community of writers and readers inspired by faith, culture, and conviction. We believe that storytelling and art have the power to touch hearts and shape minds, transcending the limitations of facts alone. Through spiritually nourishing and intellectually engaging works, we seek to affirm the enduring relevance of Christian, Catholic, and socially conservative perspectives in the cultural and literary landscape, encouraging a deeper dialogue between faith and the human experience.
Our Mission
In service to that vision, we are a literary journal and publishing house dedicated to showcasing works that embody faith, tradition, and conservative values. We provide a platform for writers and artists to explore the richness of the Christian experience, Catholic theology, and conservative philosophy through poetry, fiction, essays, and visual art. By fostering this creative expression, we aim to inspire meaningful dialogue, touch hearts, and reaffirm the enduring power of faith and creativity in shaping culture.
We seek submissions that engage with faith, explore moral questions, and celebrate the beauty of creation, publishing:
-
Poetry that speaks to the soul
-
Fiction that explores the human condition through a Christian lens
-
Essays that delve into matters of faith and culture
-
Visual art that captures the sacred in the everyday

To those who encounter our publications, we invite you to join us in this endeavor to create and celebrate works that inspire, challenge, and uplift.
